Will you put your neck out for Open Door?

We are in urgent need of canned stew and peanut butter for our pantry supply. When we ordered from the food bank last week these items were not available for purchase. These are popular, high-protein items that our clients need during their monthly shopping trips. During your next grocery trip, please consider these items. Donations can be dropped off at the Open Door Outreach Center Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM to 3:30 PM. Pantry staff will weigh your donation and provide a receipt. Thank you for thinking of Open Door's clients!

VG'S Grocery Community Reward Points

 

If you use VG's grocery store please save your receipts! At the bottom of each receipt are community reward points. Collect your receipts and bring them to Open Door. The points are converted to money by VG's! Our last check we received from VG's was around $600.00. Thank you to everyone who helped us last time.

One of the easiest ways to get some much needed funds to Open Door Outreach Center is to just use stores/services you already use, telling them you want money to go to Open Door Outreach Center. One of the stores that provides this option i...s Kroger. So - if you shop at Kroger, please make sure your savings reward card is linked to Open Door Outreach Center. Kroger then sends Open Door Outreach Center a quarterly check. Even if you've done this in the past, Kroger requires that people ENROLL OR RE-ENROLL EVERY APRIL!!! It's easy to do:

click on “Enroll” to register for the first time and “Re-enroll” to re-register.

A little change from previous years: All participants must have a valid online account at Kroger.com and must sign up online to participate. Organization members can no longer scan their group’s barcode at the registers or service desk.
